Invisalign First is the latest addition to the Invisalign treatment suite. It is an early orthodontic treatment designed specially for children above the age 7. Invisalign First allows children whose teeth are still growing in to use Invisalign clear aligners to straighten their teeth. This gives the parents of children an option to avoid choosing metal braces for their child due to the discomfort and abrasions that is commonly associated with metal braces treatment.

Early orthodontic treatment is important

Invisalign First is a pre-treatment to help prepare your child’s teeth, bite and jaws for any subsequent orthodontic treatment in the future if required. By doing a pre-treatment, this reduces the extent of treatment and time required during their teenage years.
Invisalign First is designed to gradually expand the dental arch/jawline and create an ideal environment for future teeth eruption. Similar to standard Invisalign treatment, the clear aligners will gently shift your child’s teeth into the desired position, however Invisalign First clear aligner trays have unique features to accommodate incoming new teeth.
