Dr Chew Huimin is accredited as a specialist in Endodontics by the Singapore Dental Council and restricts her clinical practice to surgical (endodontic microsurgery) and non-surgical root canal treatment, management of cracked teeth, dental trauma and vital pulp therapy.

Dr Chew obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2014. Upon graduation, she worked at various public healthcare institutions, including the National Healthcare Group (NHG) polyclinics, Singapore Armed Forces and the National Dental Centre of Singapore (NDCS). Her interest in Endodontics led her to obtain her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Endodontics from NUS in 2020. In the same year, Dr Chew’s research poster was accepted at the inaugural International Association of Dental Research General Session and Exhibition in Washington, USA. She is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Dr Chew was an Associate Consultant at NDCS, where she received numerous awards for rendering quality patient care, such as the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards (Star). She was actively involved in education and helped to organise training workshops for fellow dentists. Dr Chew is a firm believer in patient education and was one of the speakers for the World Oral Health Day Public Forum 2023. She is currently a Visiting Specialist at NDCS.

When not stretching her brain cells at work, Dr Chew enjoys giving her muscles a good stretch with Pilates.
